PM says Russian govt to send 11 bln rbl to regions to fight virus

MOSCOW, Oct 29 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will spend 10 billion rubles on support of regions amid the pandemic and 1 billion rubles on support of regional laboratories, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Thursday.

"We will allocate 10 billion rubles additionally to the regions today at a meeting of the government and one billion rubles more to support the regional laboratories that test for the coronavirus infection," Mishustin said.

He said that the president ordered to help the regions to buy individual protection equipment and virus tests and to allocate subsidies for transport and improvement of technical base of hospitals.
